The online delivery channel is another way for schools to deliver their product: education. There are gains and losses in this format but I think the net result is a very positive one. It’s also nice to be a resident in the same region that the university is located. More and more schools are embracing online learning. It is no longer skeptically viewed as inferior but rather as an equally respectable approach that in many ways is actually more challenging and leads to a greater degree of learning than classroom learning. – John
