		<description><![CDATA[Shawn, I find it interesting that collectively people have been willing to pay over a billion $ for virtual goods in games like Farmville but, as you pointed out, most people would be aghast if they had to pay to join Facebook. I&#039;m impressed (and personally relieved) that Facebook has found other ingenious ways to monetize their site, rather than just charge all users. A recent WSJ article discusses how FB will now require the use of Facebook Credits for all social games played through its site, taking a cut of sales:
